Clare Keton is a Tattoo Artist, Painter and Multi Media Visual Artist currently based on the Sunshine Coast (Australia).
Clare began her Tattooing Career in 1995, marking 30 years in the industry in 2025.
During this time she has found that it’s not only your artistic ability that develops, but also your willingness to challenge yourself as an artist.
Clare was undertaking a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in painting) Degree in 1994 when she was offered a Government accredited Apprenticeship by Skin Deep Tattoo in Lahaina, Hawaii.
Since completing the apprenticeship she has worked at Tattoo Studios and Conventions in the United Kingdom, Europe, Tahiti, Hawaii and Mainland America, Thailand and Australia. Clare has also traveled and worked with Tattoo Artists in Japan and Switzerland.
Her extensive travels and studies have given her invaluable knowledge of tattoo art, other arts and body beautification. Clare draws on these influences, as well as her own, to create her unique works. She is a practicing Artist, having exhibited her work in the National Gallery of Victoria and various galleries around Melbourne.
