A bit more work done on Ilona’s arm, a symbol for clarity and her Grandpa’s hat. We also reworked the gum leaf tattoo (by another tattooist). Next session I’ll add some grey wash shading to the pine cone and banksia cone tattoos, then one more big piece to be added and her half sleeve is done!

Work in progress – small pieces for Ilona
A couple more small pieces for artist Ilona Nelson! A pine cone from where she grew up and a pattern from a piece of lace handed down the family. Next session we’ll be shading the pine cone and banksia which we did last time. We’ve got a few more pieces planned to fill in her arm…
Work in progress – a tree for a Queensland client
A special Queensland client flew down to get a special tree from her family farm tattooed on her forearm. Above is a rough initial sketch and the tattoo after two session, we’ll finish it next session. She was an absolute champion getting through two day sessions in a row!
New work – Waratah sleeve
Recently completed this tattoo sleeve on waratah and kangaroo paw flowers, and blue wren. Maple leaves were existing work from another tattooist but I added colour. Thanks Matt!
